The National Pharmaceutical Association Foundation was created in 2000 at the 53rd annual conference of the National Pharmaceutical Association held in Baltimore, Maryland. As NPhA's official gift receiving organization, the NPhAF receives, manages, and distributes funds to assist the Student National Pharmaceutical Association and support the activities of NPhA.
The NPhAF is a private, nonprofit organization. This is advantageous of the NPhA and its contributors in that this offers investment flexibility and separation of public and private support.
The Foundation's vision is to provide leadership to NPhA and its affiliated organizations, to created change, to advance the profession, and to aggressively seek funds in support of education opportunities, practice innovations and research projects in disease states that disproportionately affect minority and disadvantaged patients.
The Foundation's goals include the support of educational programs, identifying and administering research projects, fostering practice innovations, providing scholarships, and the establishment of a permanent endowment.

NPhA Auxiliary
This organization was founded in 1950 by several spouses of pharmacists to promote the aims of the National Pharmaceutical Association. The mission is to render assistance to the National Pharmaceutical Association and to encourage students of pharmacy; to establish programs of financial aid and to encourage members to engage in civic, national, health, educational and religious organizations of their communities.
All spouses, widows, widowers, relatives and friends of financial members in good standing with the NPhA will be eligible for membership. Annual dues are $25.00 giving the auxiliary a vote in NPhA. The auxiliary is also represented on the Board of Directors of the National Pharmaceutical Association Foundation. Annual meetings are held during the convention with an event (Edna B. Perry Annual Scholarship Luncheon and Fashion Show) designed to raise funds for scholarships for students-in-need.
